What does it Cost?

If mediation is arranged through the court, the costs will be in accordance with the scale and rates approved and sanctioned by the particular court. These vary depending upon the value of the subject matter of the dispute and you will already have been made aware of them before you embark upon the process.
 
In privately arranged mediation, a fixed fee will be charged, which will be shared between the parties, and which will be governed by the amount in dispute and the amount of time that has been allocated to the mediation.
 
Where the value of the dispute is less than £15,000.00 and where the mediation is arranged for a half day session, our fee will be £500.00 plus VAT. Where a full day is required, our fee will be £900.00 plus VAT.
 
Where the value of the dispute is greater than £15,000.00, or where more than one day is needed, different charges will apply which can be discussed with our management and administration team.
 
These are our current fees (as at 1st September 2006) and they will be reviewed from time to time.  There are no further hidden charges for “ extras ”.
